Bootcamper’s Beware…The Bear crawl will make you want to find a cave!

You know the benefits of bodyweight activity as training techniques but the addition of major instability will have your clients shaking.

They will not expect the difficulty of this crawl especially when you put them on medicine balls resulting in an incredible core workout!

The key to satisfied clients lies in your ability to creatively challenge them and the element of surprise.

The Bear crawl is a great way to sneak up on your bootcampers and give them exactly what they want….a killer workout!

WARNING.…Bear crawling like this is NOT for the weak of heart.

Bootcamp exercise including primitive training is hard enough as it is, but with the addition of unstable surfaces, your clients will beg for mercy.

The core workout is intense because of the stability required and the dynamic nature of the movements.

In this video:

  • Bear crawl forward and reverse- Closed kinetic chain strengthening requiring increased stabilization from scapular and core stabilizers
  • Bear crawling on medicine balls- put your body weight training on steroids and kick in the dynamic stabilizers with unexpected perturbation.

Give your boot campers a chance to push each other and find a new level of self-satisfaction when they overcome this challenge.

When they find their killer instinct, their workout will jump to the next level and your training better take them there.

Bodyweight training must be part of your bootcamp exercises and this is an awesome way to get started.

Here’s my 2 cents for any physical fitness fitness boot camp trainers that might be reading this thread: It truly doesn’t matter how you get campers into your cp, in the event you don’t treat them right, get them final results, and make have an fantastic knowledge then they won’t stick close to. We provide lots of added value to all of our campers including, nutrition talks, measurements, travel exercises, absolutely free Saturday courses once a month, funds for referrals, birthday gift cards, recognition, appreciation parties, group activities like hikes, beach routines and canoe trips and additional. We also, produce a wonderful program that’s effectively thought out not just thrown together the night before, we make unique time earlier than and following course, we make distinctive time for individuals who require additional support and reach out for it and we treat our campers like friends. Our campers appreciate our attention to detail and know they can’t get it anywhere else.
